Meet Dr. Deanene V. Berry, CPS/A, F-AAA

Dr. Deanene V. Berry is an Audiologist and the owner of Northeast Occupational Audiology Associates LLC with offices in Hackensack, NJ and Westport, CT. A native of North Philadelphia, she attended Community College of Philadelphia and completed the American Sign Language Interpreting program. She then attended Temple University where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication Disorders. She received her Doctor of Audiology degree from Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania in 2009. Dr. Berry has been licensed to practice as an Audiologist and Hearing Aid Dispenser in New Jersey since 2006. She currently holds Audiology licenses in multiple states including Texas, Ohio, Connecticut, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, North Carolina, and Kansas.

Dr. Berry has had a remarkable career which has included working with pediatric to geriatric populations. A highlight has included working with Active Military members and Veterans in Kansas, Rhode Island, Texas, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Connecticut. Dr. Berry has experience in multiple areas of audiology including tinnitus management, hearing aid dispensing, vestibular evaluations, and comprehensive audiologic testing. She has also worked as an occupational audiologist which included traveling around the United States calibrating audiometers, conducting sound level surveys, making workplace determinations for recordable hearing losses, and reviewing problem audiometric results.

Dr. Berry has served as a CAOHC instructor since 2012. She enjoys presenting monthly training sessions for those desiring to become Occupational Hearing Conservationists (OHC). She also continues to work with companies that request workplace determinations and data reviews on short and long-term projects. Dr. Berry and all the providers at Northeast Occupational Audiology Associates LLC continue to enjoy working with veterans as well as active military members.

In her free time, Dr. Berry enjoys spending time with her family, catching up on a good book, and improving her golf and tennis game.
